Re: Re: Re: Re: anibanerjee

Thanks Presta I'll give it a go! you as my stimuli. There are now evidences that rebirths do take place. As to the question of how and the why of it, there can be a healthy intellectual discussion on the blog. Maybe, someday!

Re: Re: Re: anibanerjee

First, yes, do give it a go. Secondly, that is truly amazing about the Hindu Vedic and D. Vayu literature. Actually, the link's contents amaze me! The possibilities that it may imply! I look forward to reading you.

Re: Re: anibanerjee

Ok, I'll give it out a try. And as you have rightly observed it'll have to be a series. Though lengthy I'll try to break these in parts. Thank you.

I read the link just now and in the Hindu Vedic literature there is detailed discussion on the life-after-death concept, so concurrent with modern-day science. It talks about ten different kinds of air, differently named, just as oxygen and carbondioxide are airs with different functions, so does one Dhananjai Vayu, the air that wins back life, remains dormant all through life and immediately, upon death becomes active. One of its functions is that it swells the body up to close the pores for 18 to 24 hours so that a corpse does not either catch or spread infection. I could go on and on but that's  another subject altogether. I was therefore amazed.

Re: anibanerjee

Yes, I agree with your comment about the poem. I think, to be humorous, that it would be difficult to give post on Paradise Lost; perhaps a series of posts! LOL! Seriously, it would be wonderful to see. And you could make it as short or long as you chose. One might have to tread carefully, but it would be fun, and you most certainly could do a fabulous job of it!

Dear Presta.

These ponderings are perfectly in order, and the fun is the more you think the more you get caught in the web. And as you say in your concluding lines, let's get out of these dispiriting ruminations. I was only wondering if I should give a post on Milton's Paradise Lost where these thoughts are masterlfully presented.  .... After a long time, isn't it?
