You poor thing. Wasp stings are no fun. Once one stung my mother on the end of her nose in the grape arbor and she ended up with two black eyes--looked like a raccoon.

First I must tell you it is raining here again, now a wasp does not leave its sting in, a poor old bee has its insides torn out when it stings. That picture does not look like a wasp to me unless it was the one you stepped on, Incidentally did you not hang your imitation wasp nests up this year I have found straw in a plastic net fools the ones around here. I think you should wear gloves and breathable slacks tucked into stout shoes when gardening. I do hope that you feel better soon though, one cannot be too cruel.

Them reactionary wasps are always nasty! And as far as Mr G is concerned - why don't you just let him graze out there? Nicely tethered...Saves a lot of bother...

I've known some humans with a sting as bad as a wasp... Hope it feels better quickly. Owie for sure!

Wasp stings are way worse than bees, and bees are bad enough.
Mom used to mix a paste of water and baking soda to take the sting out. I don't know if it was the soda or the TLC psychoogy that helped most.
