I remember all our budgies eventually flew out into the unknown . The poor little canaries dropped dead from heart failure when we kids hollered. I am glad you had the doors and windows closed. Enjoyed the photos.

My first mother-in-law (may she rest in peace) used to baby-sit my
little girl when she was at that walking and into everything stage. One day after work when I went to pick her up, the parakeet said "Whatcha doin' Lorrie?" exactly the words gramma kept repeating all day long...
