We got a goodly supply of hail yesterday, but it melted quickly into all of the water that came down.

Severe thunderstorms & tornado warnings mark the weather scene here
in the flatlands - but I think the time has come to put out my silk flowers in the planter by the front steps (the squirrels uproot and destroy any real ones unless I plant mint with them.)

don't want too many storms. We were lucky yesterday to just get the rain from a storm and it watered everything for me.

We don't want hail you seem to get king size showers, the wind dries the surface soil quickly but it appears to be moist beneath here at least. Plenty of slugs and snails sadly not many thrushes or hedgehogs around.

We had about a month of heavy rain. For now, it has subsided.
