Do you know slugs and snails are our worst nightmare I was hoping the 49 frogs I imported would snap some up. I left some dahlias in the ground to chance it and they are just coming through slug bitten, I am going to try to make a nasty from some chilies to see if that will nobble little pests , I did try your coke last year perhaps I'll put some in with the chilies instead of soap. Must not recommend it though, so don't tell anyone.

Dragon flies. I never knew they ate mosquitoes, but I do see quite a few
of them humming above the little pond by the back deck. They're fascinating, aren't they?

A nice, chatty post. It has been a good while since I have seen a snail or a slug. They must be well hidden.

I love a garden with flowers and veggies, too! Soon, I hope. It's been a bit chilly here (for me). Did not know about the Coke for the aphids! Thanks for telling about it.
