I never to to Walmart

for so many reasons...  This is one at the top of the list. I would rather pay a few cents more for anything, sometimes even a few dollars more, to support the kinds of businesses that don't just exist to support a single, ungenerous family.

I'm sorry for the loss of your real market.

Yes it is a shame, but corporate business has no shame, only results

TAPS,  that is very sad about Sunfresh.  We had a store like that go out of business here in Austin, Texas,  because of larger chains like Sprouts coming in.

Very nice song though,  thanks for sharing it with us.

That's a crying shame - we lose a bit of Americana every time one of

our old reliable family establishments closes. Sometimes I think those who hate Walmart have the right idea. The only remedy I'm thinking is to move to some small village way out in the boonies where there's not enough of a population base to attract the big box stories.

It is always tough when those businesses that are pillars in the community close down.

I loved the story. Yep, that song will get you movin'. I remember my mom and dad shopping at a place called Lucky's, and later Safeway, and then Vons. It was like an excursion for them! Each aisle became a food village on their trip. So cute they were. Wal...etc.; I don't even like the smell of it!

Not many left like this Taps unless one lives way out I guess, We have small stores in villages but of course deliveries by the supermarkets will eventually close them down.

Really Really sad and since Wal Mart added groceries to our Town and there are two other bulk priced stores, there is no service not recognition from some one at the check out nothing personal anymore. I really dislike Wal Mart...we get their rubb ish clothing and products and we did buy groceries for awhile, bravely waiting in long lines, but then we found any products we really liked they would never get them again.
