I've got one of those robot things, doesn't make all that much noise
but it buzzes around underfoot - reminds me of a cat, just going wherever it wants.

Not keen on the vacuum myself but with Mr. Graysome such a messy eater...he spits out the bits he doesn't want...have to clean up sometimes.
