my mom would clean a room a day all week and I beleive she would shop on Fridays and I beleive my dad was paid weekly if I remember right.  But she would do it all herself as she didnt like the way I did things.

I have found in life that things do have their way of getting done.

I know and now I only keep six toothbrushes for doing the corners, don't forget to plant the catmint, I didn't know it had an attractive flower, I would grow some if I had a cat.

I have given up on organizing my time and my chores.  I just do what seems good to do when it seems right to do it, and don't worry when something doesn't get done.

Kabu

I'm glad you're to busy to come buzzing me on your broom, which looks like it's hardly been used, by the way...

Kabuiepie-;)~

A busy day and my new glass lenses have been ordered, that will be a big help reading because my right eye has deteriorated. We made a happy worthwhile trip and shopped as well.Ilove you.

Same thing on the farm when we were young. (Damn, but it seems like just yesterday!) A tight schedule , then Sunday, the day of rest, except for the milking and feeding of animals. I loved Saturdays cause we would cook and bake most of the day!

We always had a schedule, too. We did laundry on Saturdays

when we girls were off from school - we got the job of hanging the clothes on the line strung between the garage and a giant Douglas fir tree. They smelled so fresh when we brought them in. Rainy days we had lines on the porch.
