Everything can sure get messed up in some people's thinking.
Common sense & kindness--great combination.

I didn't even know there were gay people. When I was a young conscript I occasionally went down to the village with a young lad because he did not seem to have any friends.

One day one of my mates said you know so and so is gay don't you. It rather intrigued me as he just seemed normal, So one day when we were going out for a drink I turned the conversation around to girls. He shuddered, 'messy things,' Perhaps you will think differently one day I suggested. I only just thought of this, it did not seem as though he was thinking of messier things. Please scrub this if is a bit crude,

I am in your audience clapping whistling and stamping my feet.

Y' know when I was nursing sometimes a wee bubby was born and the dr's would stand there scratching their heads. What exactly do we have here, boy or girl. Inevitably they would decide for surgery ...easy to remove a part of anatomy difficult to do the other way. I remember once pleading to let time and the child to grow and make their own decision. I went back to my department after finishing my tasks and was told that I would be going to section XYZ for the next few weeks. sad isn't it.
