thanx CCT actually he finally got his glasses corrected properly last year and has been so much better. I think it was standing up with his hands full and when he started to trip over my stuff
he couldn't put his hand out to stop himself. He is mending I am pleased to say.

Do you know Kabu I wonder if older people should wear a kind of safety padding if they are a bit shaky. It would have to be light and reach over the knees. If I were younger I would invent Ye olde Protection Overcoat. Make sure our boy is wearing the right glasses I have found one can feel giddy using the wrong ones.

This falling business really bothers me because of all the falls my mom had. I kept warning her that she had to do this or that (keep the floor picked up, use her walker or a cane, etc.) all the time because the day would come when she would have a fall she didn't rebound from. That happened when she broke her hip (the second time) in her beautiful bedroom, left in an ambulance...and has never been able to reurn to her home. I quit taking an anti-depressant because I didn't recover from stumbles when I took it and I was falling, and I'm just not going to do it. I'm lecturing, I know....but, I'm paranoid for you!!

Oh, my, a fall is so worrisome at our stage in life.
I think he needs a graphic tee shirt with the message "You should see the other guy!" One of my buddies from The Center took a tumble and his daughter got him a shirt like that to wear to bingo... Might as well laugh if we can, but I hope he (and you) are okay.
