How fun.  I would have loved an assignment like that when I was a teen.  I love the dog too.  It looks so much like Phil's doggy Rocky reincarnated.

A refreshing assignment

Lovely pic and I hope your granddaughter do well on the essay. Good luck kid.

It's one of the most rewarding jobs; also one of the TOUGHEST. That's why parents

stressed it so much........wait,wait,wait.

I have never heard of an assignment like that. I wonder what grade I would earn.

Yes there is a bit more to babies than chucking them under the chin. Now my experience,no you won't want to hear about that.

Woa! An entire week of parenting 24/7, and I would guess she has other activities, homework, a social life... Not to mention the emotional toll on doggie. LOL. Sounds very hard on everyone. Perhaps a day or two would have sufficed? Bless her.

Very pretty Grand-daughter and dog!

as for the baby; well...lol.  They used to do those real life lessons in high schools here too. I actually had a baby; a real one, before I graduated...should have paid closer attention in those health classes, I guess, haha...

Kabu

I'm not going to ask questions about Miki's baby - I mean, these things happen, and I hope Miki's parents don't mind having been made grandparents earlier than expected, any more than you should mind being a great-grandma now, so don't complain!...But why did they have to call that baby Patch? And I like the doggie too...

If that's not an incentive to avoid pregnancy for awhile, I don't know

what would do it. Being a new mom can be a joyful blessing, but the lack of sleep and the need to put your own wants aside to wait hand and foot on a very demanding little one who shows no appreciation whatsoever at times can be a bit crazy-making. I never felt so inadequate as I did during that first few months of motherhood. Now, of course I know it was so worth it! Best job I ever had.
