I do breakfast. It may not be for an hour or so after that first coffee
but the day just goes better with a bowl of oatmeal under my belt. I add blueberries and chopped walnuts to make it a superfood nutritionally, sometimes a spoonful of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Scrambled eggs and hashbrowns are for Sunday mornings at the diner up on Main Street with my boys...

I think I cooked too many egg sandwiches every Sunday night for my husband, four sons and their girlfriends and friends. It was a family tradition and each were made pretty much to order for how they wanted them cooked and what was on them.

It depends on my appetite, not the time....but breakfast food is my favorite food to eat. My husband and I used to eat breakfast out at Perkins...it was our favorite Sunday afternoon indulgence....take the paper and go eat and drink coffee, read the paper. I loved eggs, bacon and toast....still do if they are done absolutely the way I like them and I am hungry...I don't think there is anything better. But, I just don't usually have that kind of appetite these days. It has also been my favorite meal to cook for others.
