This is a really neat letter from your son. If he was mine, I would print it beautifully, frame it and hang it on the wall in a conspicuous place.

I'm looking forward to seeing your son's name rolling up on the
credits of a really big movie. It makes me so happy to read about someone in the arts who just decides to go for it. There's no way to lose in a venture like this, a person's going to grow and learn no matter what. And Naut said what I was feeling, so I second his comments, too.

Please give Charlie a hug from me. He does have a wonderful future ahead of him. We know he has talent and is very artistic and with the attitude that he has to have the confidence to succeed, Charlie, the sky is not even the limit.

This is the most positive, affirming and self-affirming, the all-around nicest thing I have read in a long time; and though I don't know Charlie personally in a conventional sense, I think I do in a wider sense, and I really like what I see and am glad to know him. And I also know he'll continue on his path, and he'll be 'going places', and he can be genuinely proud of himself, and so can you!
