Re: Kabu

Yes! He reads a teleprompter very well! Would not call him brilliant?

I would love to hear one of president Obama's speeches live. Be in the audience. I think that he is a brilliant speaker.

Re: CCT

I'm not very often unhappy (though now and then something gets under my skin.  LOL)

I watched most of the SOTU, but it was on after my usual bedtime

and I did fall asleep near the end. I love Pres. Obama's eloquence, his ability to present his arguments in terms we mere citizens can get hold of, but he does go on and on sometimes.

Re: Glennb

How could one not become small when they realize what they have gotten themselves into.  Small is not necessarily bad.  Someone who overestimates himself to be very big could be much worse.

Taps,

I fear it has become a look at the sad men (thus far) who have held this Great Office. Most become very small! President Obama seems smaller than most?

Good! I hope most of your fellow citizens watch it too!

TAPS

Though a mere Canadian, the State of the Union is of great interest to me - in principle! But sometimes I just let other things override principle - so here! I ain't gonna watch it! But I'm sure tomorrow there'll be plenty of people telling me all I want to know, and more, LOL...
