- Go to Christmas Dinner
Well once Ceil I had a tin of beans and sausages, I cannot say it felt much different.
I was probably healthier for relaxing.

I would do the same, I think. I'd be missing the festivities with all the family, at the same time relishing the peace and quiet.

In my lifetime I have spent a few Christmas Days alone, though they have been few and far between, and I really liked it. I'm so glad you made yours special in your own way.

How many times in years past have we wished for just one day
of peace and quiet? I've learned to be thankful for quiet boring days. Still, sometimes absent friends are in our thoughts, and we can't belp feeling a bit let down. Thanks again for that lovely post about your mother and sewing and how she shared her gift with you.

I perfectly understand. We are together yes but Wiley John and myself have had to make our own little Christmas traditions and we actually don't wish to go anywhere or have lots of folks anymore. Just quietly together.
