I am still at my daughter's house where my two youngest granddaughters just had a Christmas filled with needle craft that I plan to post about when I get home...is there a current in the air?!   Reading this wonderful story reminded me of a wonderful Christmas memory I don't think I've ever shared with my daughter I'm going to go tell her right now!  Thanks for this🌸

That explains your love for costuming, and your creativity.

I could almost see her busy at work like Santa's elf, making such great surprises for her kids...

The most precious gifts - I admire people who can do that. My sis could do it too. She also made lovely quilts. I'm more like Kabu. In fact, I'm not sure that I have a needle in the house.....

My sister is the one with clever hands. She still makes many things herself and of course is quite famous where she lives for her bobbin lace making.Me, I can't thread a needle. LOL.

i loved the stories of your Mother here. I also remember the bean bag froggie craze. Nice post. Thank you.
