Be careful not only for things left in your car but someone lurking...

My daughter stopped with her son for ice cream, locked her car doors with her purse in it, but left her sun roof open. Yes - she got robbed within the 5 minutes it took her to come out of the store.  It is so insulting!

This frustrates me.  Its such a violating feeling when your business is rummaged through and taken.  I'm not happy this happened to somebody else, but I am happy that it didn't happen to you.

Sad. I'm glad we are in an isolated area with the car in the garage. Sorry about your situation.

It is terrible all of the burglaries that are happening these days...We have had a few burglaries in my neighborhood. I am glad I have a security system.

Well Taps Archie sometimes leave his car round the back of my fence as it is safer than leaving it on the street. I told him not to leave his long handled axe in there as it would tempt a a passing rogue. Better to keep everything out of sight even a purse, if it is empty.

It's sad! Even in our neighborhood (single family houses) cars get broken into when people leave them out in their driveways, because their garages are full of 'junk'...Our cars are in the garage - the 'junk' is distributed around the house, LOL...

It is a sad thing.  In these times, it is just a fact of life that you have to not expect bad things to happen, but always be aware that bad things do and can happen to anyone at any time....including you...and live your life accordingly.  It doesn't have to be a bad way to live, just different - it's all in how you look at it.

I loved George Carlin, and still think he's one of the great philosophers.

I hope your neighbors get their stuff back, or that they at least had insurance coverage.

Sounding very alarming...and i agree.
