I agree, my hands get windburned pretty easy. Lotion has always helped :)

Years ago FS I used to call on a family, the father worked in the forest and each week the wife would purchase a little pot of green lotion. I can't remember the name but it was something like ZAM BUK or Wintergreen Lotion. These days I try to wear gloves if possible once one gets rough hands it is a job to get them supple again. Would you believe one can still purchase chilblain cream although that is a distant itch thank goodness.
