This sounds like a fun tradition in your home, Taps. My Mum loves football, too. Her favourite team is the Dallas Cowboys. Thank you for your kind comment. I miss you all too, when I can't be here. Be blessed.

Well - we certainly get together over baseball, but here is where we part company, LOL...I prefer my oysters fresh, i.e. raw, with a drop of lemon at most; mind you, I do like Tabasco sauce on a lot of other things; but football leaves me cold, although I do watch our Canadian Grey Cup game as well as the Super Bowl...
