I was way behind the times when it came to Hunter Thompson.

I'd heard "gonzo journalism" but wasn't hip to what it was. I don't know what ELSE you're going here, TAPS, but on Blogit you're doing color commentary, writing poetry, helping us appreciate the extraordinary in the dailyness. Making a difference. ♥

You are a writer.  One day your family will have all those entries to look back on to know much of the family history during this time period.

TAPS

That's a question I have often asked myself - and after all these years (almost as many as yours) I've never been able to come up with a better one than the following: I like some of the people there, and there's one called TAPS that's at the very top of the list...

I liked reading your analysis of your writing. As for me, only I know that I am writing here.

Well if it was 1950 you would be a well paid writer if the others could afford the fee.

i have a lot of posts left here, I do remember when our Wiley accidently removed a whole lot of my writing ....with me looking on all daydreamy eyed because my hero knew everything.

I joined Wiley then in writing in everything else cos here I write whatever the day brings.

I remember when I first heard about blogging; blogs were called

weblogs and they were like online diaries or journals; in my mind akin to the leather bound or booklet type hard-copy us obsessed scribblers kept. So to me, blogging began as a personal stream of thoughts, emotions, experiences but was not intended as journalism; definitely not objective journalism. Wow, 10 years worth; that is cool!  I wish I would have saved my original blogs, lol.
