We are extremely successful as a species (after all, less than a hundred years ago, we died off like flies). We still have a lot of work to do, though.

The way we are heading with over population and one crisis after another nature may yet have the last laugh. either we destroy ourselves with Nuclear or some terrible disease like happens to over population of rats and mice.

Is this what the Chinese tried once Ceil? Eventually it may not be for a while but the laws of Nature do apply to all. We may move round it for a couple of K years. How many times has Earth come into fruition and then had to start again.
