Well Taps I am not a political animal taking my cue from the lady on the soap box. Tonight I fear I may have upset a few commentators by making little jokes, I know you have done this yourself, so I am not completely to blame, Oh! dear it must be a virus.

I am really quite a political animal within myself. I used to be active, but burned out years ago. I find it is best never to argue religion, abortion or politics. I do read and watch with interest.

In my family we don't argue politics unless we're awake and
in the same room. Some of us are liberal and forward thinking, while the others are hidebound conservatives who are stuck in the dim past. I think that's why they mostly focus on sports at get-togethers.
