Working moms (with office jobs and kids with week night activities)
look forward to a fine weekend where they can relax on the porch with a cuppa coffee for maybe ten minutes before they play catch-up with the laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc. So you're absoletely right on target with this one, Kabu - a wet weekend could spell trouble with a capital T.

Yes, it is wet, even here! The doggie has told me he wants his own umbrella.

Yes I remember Kabu my days were so full that i felt quite lightheaded when Christmas day demanded that we only had to feed the chickens and collect the eggs and make sure they were all secure in the early afternoon. Crikey 6 hours to do as I pleased, it was out of this world.

This is such a beautiful post of how it was when you were running in all directions working and bringing up two boys. I do know how time changed for busy. No one can tell you exactly how that is until you reach it. It is lovely. Loved it.

It has been a long time since I have had tight schedules, and believe me, I have had a few of those in the past. Now I sit back and enjoy whatever, whenever and however I desire, and I don't often feel guilty about it.

Loved your post and we grew up pretty much in tune with family get-togethers of a weekend and everybody getting the meal together.Enjoyed your gardening drawing very much.I love you.
