Excuse me Kabu. Did you vote or just return the paper, I think I might do that next time so I need not tear my hair when my favoured candidate did not follow the strict procedure that I thought he/she would. . Sweet dreams.

I joined a political party a few years ago because both Democrats and Republicans do not allow for independents to vote in primaries. I wanted to have some say.
Sadly, so many people feel their vote will not make a difference, and they feel so disenfranchised. Maryland has done so much gerrymandering to where so many people feel it is too uphill of a battle to beat. To make a long story short, gerrymandering across the country is why Congress has so many extremists.

It's good to vote early! As the old saying goes - vote early and vote often...

So great to hear, Kabu! Voting feels like a chore sometimes here
because it seems everybody on the ballot is bought and paid for by the uber rich. But I try not to forget it is an important tool of the masses and not to utilize it would be a waste and loss. Congrats, Missus Canada!...:)

Good for you! Voting is such a privilege....I'm always astounded, as well, when I meet people who say they don't vote - and I will not listen to them complain about anything!
