Sorry bout Dear Wiley's eye troubles
but it is so comforting to read you, Sweet Kabu! We had a long spell of near constant rain here in the midwest last month and it was too much for the gardens in this zone. So now we have mushy tomatoes and rotting potatoes but oh well, still plenty of grazing foods around, lol. Your stew sounds yummy!

We got some storms yesterday, too. We needed the rain. Really, outside of June, it has been a dry year. We are about nine inches above average, but that comes from just rainy month, not the sort of way that leads to solid accumulation.

I wish I really liked steak and kidney pudding. I suppose I could knock a basinful of yours back. I know rain is a pain at times but it is far worse without. Anyway I think duck's feet would be an improvement on a good many. Quack quack.
