I don't think I've ever seen anyone with an aura.

Re: Pat

I must put raspberries and cream on top in future Pat.I expect your mother grew scabious

flowers they are pretty old fashioned I would imagine. The problem  is if you if you put a barrel under the rain-spout it will fill and over flow. There is a simple fitting, Ha, ha, It needs a hack saw to saw through the pipe and then the fitting is inserted and the rain

runs out in a small pipe into your rain barrel. Once full it would be wise to lift the pipe above the fitted drainer to stop the flow. It is surprising how much rain comes of the roof I have 4 barrels and could have filled 10 five each side of the roof. That was in one day but we did have an inch of rain.

Re: shamasehar

I am afraid the car is the culprit, we have not the room to spare. Once folk had long gardens ,because they grew vegetables . Of course the land is too valuable for that in built up areas . Sometimes we get too much rain but it is more of a winter condition, one thing it fills the reservoirs.

You caught my attention with that "raspberries and cream" hook

to draw the reader in, and I have sometimes considered putting a rain barrel under the downspout. I always like your romantical verses, the flirtations either dreamed or remembered... smiling, i'm smiling. Thank you for the lovely flower. ♥

Re:Kabu

Yes it is still raining but colder than it should be,I turned the heaters back on got soft I expect. Once I could have walked around in the freezing rain all day wearing heavy wet coats.

Re: CCT

I suppose as soon as support is withdrawn we shall be forced to move on Naut. Never liked XP much.

The rain keeps on coming, I see...I find that at any age, most, if not all, wear some sort of disguise...

No need to apologize - I like the poem too, LOL...And I expect the debate over XP, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 to continue for a while...

the poem is beautiful, the flower is exquisite and you remain quite priceless to your friends. Archie doesn't seem to be having much luck with his stall this year, either away or something. Glad you had the rain. We are about to get yet another storm I think.
