I've always liked bookmarks, had a variety of them, and often made my own as artsy projects, and given lots away.

Well I confess I never use them FS . I just scan through until I find the last page that I was reading, I guess I am in the minority .

re your comment at my post I do agree with you that when someone puts out many books in a year, well even one each year their writing becomes predictable and you realize that you loved their earlier books but become disillusioned with their work. A good lesson for us who are published authors  but remain forever unknown. Better to write the best we can and slow and steady wins the race.

I love book marks too and enjoy bringing some back from Australia to give away as gifts.
