I suppose a few of the offspring might still remain not knowing of their heritage. Memory does not seem to apply much to families beyond Great Grandparents. Interesting observations you always make Femmy .

There are multiple reasons tribes moved or disappeared. Once the Europeans arrived though it was usually their lust for land and food that caused their departure...wilingly or forced.
