oh Kabu

how exciting - can't wait for next morsel.  This is thrilling and keeps my imagination swirling with the imagery as well.

Well they are a ratty lot of fairies, I definitely would not accept them on our patch.

I can see them standing on each others shoulders and chasing bears next. Unfortunately

you are a  truthful lady, so we read how it really happened warts and all. I think they are really gnomes in drag, but I am a fan of fairies and hope they will have it off with the Frenchies and settle down. Lay off the nectar.

It seems that chaos seems to follow Andy everywhere he goes.

Lakes and squirrels will do it love.

Kabu

They're waging war on poor, defenseless little squirrels? The planters of oaks and beeches? Methinks they adopted too many of the habits of Nature's creations - 'red in tooth and claw'...

I'm enjoying the heck out of this story - I especially like the fact that

yo people have magic-wanded the squirrels out of their tree nests. I've grown less sympathetic to the fuzzy little rats over the past couple of walnut seasons.

Kabu

I don't think any of them ever got onto the mountain where I grew up. Perhaps us kids were too mean. You can weave a story out of corn silk, love it.

Very nice, I like the history and nature that is spoken of and I like the picture.

Hmmm - so they were avoiding war to create one of their own? Naughty little people!
