Comments on I Had A Dream

I have heard one analyst say that it is not so much the dream but the words the person uses to describe the dream, that are significant. Having said that, I associate a bear cub with a baby bear (duh), and that with a teddy bear; a source of comfort to children. If you associate your grandma's house with comfort perhaps the bear represents you as a child being comforted by your grandmother, or your grandmother herself comforting you, or someone at her home. I noticed you said "sweet faced." Is that how you would describe yourself, or your grandmother? Just a thought...

ob

we all know how a mother bear will defend her cub.  and the cub being in your grandmothers house, maybe you just feel very safe in your grandmothers house.

Hi Jemmie,

First of all, it's so good to read and see you again!  I've never dreamed of a bear cub, but four times now, I've dreamed of lions and tigers being in a house.  I wish I could tell you what your dream means, but I'm afraid I can't.

I hope you can find out!

I am not sure what the symbolism of a bear in a dream means.

That's a new one on me! I'm sure there may be some significance, but what I have no idea! I guess the two main components are a bear cub and your grandmother's home. The answer is in there somewhere . . .

cuddly is the first word that I thought of...perhaps you need a hug from a Grandma type friend.

The only animal I ever saw in my Grandma's parlor was her little yappy pomeranian named Bennie.  I guess he could have passed for a bear cub.

A harmless dream I would imagine, now if it had been a full grown bear it would have been a bit more dramatic.
