Ahh I remember Mom would go to the ends of the earth to get fresh eggs and milk. Oh how I hated that milk.

The photos and the post are such fun...and after all the cold and snow I would imagine the drive was great. When I work in Dallas we have a woman who takes orders for free-range eggs and brings them in every two weeks....it's so nice to have them in the hotel every morning for breakfast.

around here so many have chickens in the yard, you can hardly give them away, but lately something has been eating the chickens, ????? from land or air? there has been a large eagle spotted around. but are also all kinds of small critters that like chicken.

I believe I know how they get such 'quick' egg production! That dog scares those chickens into laying those eggs . . .

What fun! The last time we've picked up any country-fresh eggs was some time last summer! I'm sure you'll enjoy them! And I love the pictures...

Well I guess you can't get eggs fresher than that, I expect you swallowed a couple with a drop of vinegar. I did try it once or twice but they sort of wouldn't go down.
