Some days I just have to have mindless comedy - "Family Feud" is
always good - same format, different contestants. I get so tired of the ghastly police procedurals and all the dark 'fairy tales' that pass for originality...

Well, I'm trying to get better about not being so dang hard-headed in both my viewing and reading and stopping when I am not "into it". Yes, there have been many times when it has paid off to stick with it and I've been pleasantly surprised....but there have been many, many more times when I've reached the end and wanted to kick myself for wasting the time. There are so many options out there, and I'm not getting any younger so I'm really trying to best this obsession I have with finishing what I start even when I KNOW it's a loser!!!

There used to be some real good cowboy films,. I would not mind watching them again, but I don't seem to have the time these days. Old people keep visiting me, on horse back, well they are too old to drive a car.
