How can our president call a spade a spade, when he is a spade and a spade should not be the president of a 'free religion' country?

They seem to have a problem calling a spade a spade. Politicians = windbags.

He was religiously obligated?

I read your posts, but they make me crazy.  I can't think of one thing to say or do.

I shall just go and stick my head in the snow outside. It is getting deeper by the second.

They have some strange ways of labeling things.

My gosh the ridiculousness!   And as had been discussed before, changing the name of something, or finding alternate words to describe someone or something, doesn't lessen their impact or accountability! Like George Carlin once said, it's like calling a rape victim an "unwilling sperm recipient" . . .

Nautikos

I personally have been picturing a large pot, bubbling....simmering....and a hand periodically dumping an ingredient in here and there as the stew gets thicker and thicker; the large wooden spoon sticking out of this is a totally clueless, IMHO, president who barely stirs the bottom occasionally.....I keep waiting for those inevitable bubbles that pop up and want to plop up over the top and onto the stove-top when the contents get too hot and the spoon isn't doing it's job of stirring and blending............see, I'm so overwrought with this vision I'm drifting into blathering, but I just "stew" on this if I think about it too much which I have been doing....and watch it too much which I have doing...and get depressed and lose the optimism I have carried my whole life that things will always work out.....

So, today I'm not going to watch any of it as long as I can stay away....and just keep hoping (and praying to my better angels) that we can get through his term and into a saner time in one piece.

Does your orange tell the right time Naut. I do agree they will always be attacks once it was just a gun, but now we don't know what to expect.

Just to tweak your enquiring mind...

Why did our president cut short a diplomatic venture to India, the world's largest democracy and a potentially huge trading ally, to attend the funeral of a king in one of the world's smaller monarchies?
