Well happily we seem to be getting rain although we usually get hit after USA . I am betting that we don't get much snow this year. Your Dad was a wise old chap/

I never try to predict weather (or anything else). I never get anything right as far as future goes so I just take whatever comes.

Well, a fair warning is better than no warning. People didn't want to take any chances. I was so glad my wife and I were already home before the worst of it hit. However, we were spared the 2 feet they originally predicted here in Jersey. That's fine by me . . .

What irritates me is the sensationalism on the part of the news media. They panic all these people...I wish people would learn not to get caught up into their hype.
