Re: You've hit the nail on the head, CCT - crowns and bridges, etc. are

Trouble was Pat in those early days we were really tortured by school dentists with foot driven drills screaching  down into a tooth and the red hot drill stopping, to slowly begin again. In the army I was treated a bit better the dentist chiseled the the tooth as he said it was less painful. These days most of the pain is paying up and hoping one has not caught a tummy bug.

You've hit the nail on the head, CCT - crowns and bridges, etc. are

what puts dentist's kids through college (or sends the dentist herself off on a nice tropical vacation from time to time). But ya gotta eat. I remember when I could crunch ice in my teeth - probably what did them in, now that I think of it.

Re: Justi

Thank you Justi. I hope that you are feeling a bit better, a lot of illness here at the moment the vaccine is not working very efficiently.

Re: Bro

Yes I suppose so Bro one can get two sets of cheap choppers for the price of one crown.

Well some Indians speak quite nicely, but it is a job to repair a phone line when one cannot see it is not working.

Re: Jimmy

Re: Kabu

Ny dear Kabu that is the whole point, I don't want to use flour I want something simple instead of having to cook porridge. I'm sure Scottish folk used to make them. Perhaps they were called called pats.

CCT

Dentists have been buying chateaus in France, although that me be changing, LOL...And I don't mind that all the IT guys looking after our phones are living in the Punjab - but I never realized they're speaking Swahili there...And that's a truly ominous milkmaid - good thing you don't see too many of 'em around any more...

why use oatmeal for the scones. Just use a less refined flour. I am convinced my Sis. makes the best scones since Mother died and I make the worst.

Yeah, sometimes the workers have got to be more careful when 'cutting' things! They don't realize that one gaff can affect a lot of people. And what kind of cheese were you eating that actually cracked a tooth? I hope it was tasty anyway! Go for the crown! They're much more durable. By the way, I don't know anything about scones, but I'm sure someone has a recipe somewhere . . .

ChiffChiff

Take the teeth out Bro, it's so much less trouble and then scones will be easier to eat that way anyway. I get the Indians calling here all the time, don't undestand 'em much maybe you could use their accent for poetry. Good poem below  Bro.

Today's telephones are simply a problem in their existance. Good poem as usual.

Technology can be such a hassle. I feel like I and others are always having to deal with some technological issue...Another awesome poem you got there, Sir.
