Yes reminds me of a man who came to mend my computer. Asked if he could use the loo.

Ten minutes later he came back in to the computer room. Want to wash your hands  I asked. He looked astonished but I guided him into the bathroom and gave him a towel.

I did not want germs all over my keyboard.

My mom still likes to crochet too, but she doesn't have any dogs to contend with! And yes, I was initially fooled by the term hooker. I thought you were going to say that chopsticks could make formidable weapons for self-defense . . .

A presenter with dirty hands? Yuck! And although I'm not a hooker, I always have (Japanese) chopsticks handy and use them for all kinds of things! That dates back to some adventures I've written about here in the past, when I used only chopsticks, LOL. I find them very convenient, especially since they're so much easier to clean then knives and forks, and you don't want to stick everything into the washing machine! And I agree with TAPS on buffets...

I really notice when people do not have clean hands.  It bothers me a lot.  That's why I won't go to those all you can eat serve yourself buffets--everyone touches the same serving spoons.
