Re: Naut

It was funny a so called tree surgeon called on me 2 years ago, He excuse me Sir that  tree of yours is dead, shall I cut it down £200? No I said it isn't dead it is taking a long time to come out so we shall have a dry summer. No its dead, he said I am an expert.

Come back in a months time I told him and you will see. He never came back, well he didn't call, he might have done if it had died. Sad though I just hope the young ones that were planted do not succumb and spread the disease. Corn flowers care a good seller

But we don't want you to have any kind of computer trouble, not if it might interfere with your being here with us on a daily basis.

You lucky duck - you still have an Ash? We've lost them all, I am now living on a sadly Ash-bare street...And I too love girls wit cornflower-blue eyes...

Re: Pat

I know the feeling Pat I don't answer it very often. Yes we miss the old computer more than the tele., I would imagine.Just going through some poems general clear out. I really should give some to an old girl she always asked to read some. Perhaps in the spring, only she is a bit of a pain.

Fortunately, in my area, we have a lot more leeway to cut down trees that are impacting one's vision of the road.

Re: ChiffChiff

You know Wiley always has the answers. His advice is good Matey.

ChiffChiff

My hedge is about 10 feet tall now and my trimmers are a bit taller like a 12 foot handle with a rope that runs up to the trimmer blade scissor. Go up to the tree and reach up and you can trim one branch at a time.Maybe that would help Bro?

Your telephone computer system needs some thing to make the system work obviously, like an electronic switch or something.

It's too bad you aren't able to trim those hedges as you'd like. I know what you mean by certain types of vegetation blocking one's view. It can be very dangerous in some areas! Too bad about your phone. I hope it is someone else's fault, and that you won't have to pay . . .

On days when the robo telemarketers call, I'd like the phone to quit.

But in case of an emergency, you need the use of it. I'm glad your 'puter's back on line,
and your story pops up with a nice bit of rhyme.
