Needless to say that particular editing was not necessary. However, by comparison, the second one looked much worse than the first . . .

Well, this wasn't exactly done by 'the Israeli media', but a very small newspaper issued by a very small Ultra-Orthodox group! Even in Israel they have their nuts!
But compare that to the attitude towards women throughout the Muslim world...
