Obviously what you're trying to accomplish is for the good of the entire group. But for these pamphlets to now be paid for is like finding that 'hidden clause' at the bottom of a contract that you never noticed before! People will get upset! Keep plugging away . . .

It is the modern World....once Beurocrats get involved evrerything gets ruined. Remember back when we married women with kids ventured out of our homes to have a paying job and then got really brave and defying society went on to University; we had a friend around the corner who wanted to work from home, take care of our kids...taddlers all day and little kids after school.
Then Gov. moved in and now everything is so regulated child care has become so expensive so that young people are finding it is cheaper if one of the parents stay home.

I know it isn't a lot of money to some folk, but to others it will seem outrageous . I would guess two thirds would throw in the towel and probably go and play whist or something.

No, you're not crazy - you're entirely correct! While I am VERY BIG on academic standards, LOL, and know they're absolutely necessary, this ain't an academic setting, but an entirely different undertaking. A 'textbook'??? BS!!! Stick to your guns, and good luck!
