When one finds peace within himself, he becomes the kind of person who can live at peace with others.

It is always good to get something off one's chest and the beauty of Blogit is there is tolerance and one is encouraged to be themselves. We seem to enjoy learning how each other think and to respect them. Now there is an old fashioned thought. Respect!!!! and love.

I know where you're coming from, but it's probably not worth getting worked up over anymore. I may not have lived as long as you, but I have lived long enough to see these changes for myself. What I've learned to do is tolerate what I have no choice but to tolerate, and dismiss everything else! The problem ( or at least one of many ) with today's society are the "media vultures" who have forced and perpetuated 'political correctness' all these years, and try to guilt everyone to conform to these ideals! Not me! I remain a Free-Thinking Non-Conformist, and have no fear of monikers! I think that, if more people felt that way, free-speech would find its way back into our society, and people will once again start to stand up against these other groups, for a change . . .

Thanks for your help in spreading the message;  of course Popper's words weren't  directed at the little annoyances of this world, but a warning not to let our commitment for tolerance allow the fundamentally intolerant do us in. Today, that applies to not accommodating Islam, but condemning it and shaming Muslims into changing their dreadful, inhuman 'religion'...

Well Justi I think God is very tolerant. Perhaps he or she views us en-masse and we all just about creak  to the good side of the scales. I know what you mean though once those in charge would deal directly with a client or a patient, but now they hide behind a facade of indifference hoping the minions will will sort things out.
