I have been encouraged lately to see quite a few success stories about rescues and recoveries. It does go on, but human people are not sitting on their hands.

I like CCT's wording of "Creature of special Creation" rather thAn Non -Human Person.
I think that just confuses what is actually a simple situation...cruelty that needs to stop. Children, the elderly, the disabled, in some way, all need a voice to speak out angainst cruelty and abuse.So too do all of God's creatures great and small from the large like your wonderful WHALE SHARK OR A GREAT APE To the smallest kitten or marmoset.

Well I know this is not really about the same subject, but I feel squeamish more and more about eating animal flesh. If this civilization exists, I feel that in the future it will probably be taboo. We shall have more substitutes of course, so it will not be hard to be convinced. Of course all creatures should be treated as if they were a special creation.
