Glad to hear that, FSI. It is rainy and grey here - no snowfall

to give us the special atmosphere. I fear there is no getting better for Grump - not until he makes his way across Rainbow Bridge. I was glad to read you had a lovely Christmas with your family.

I did relax, Jimmy.

Grump and I snoozed the day off and on! Merry Christmas to you!!

Thank you, Ciel.

Grump was an excellent companion and friend and I'll miss him terribly. He seems to sense it is time, he has become very quiet and watches every step I take when I'm in the same room. When it is our time, I expect most of us will want the living to keep on living until it is their time too. I think loved pets would want the same...they so enjoy seeing us happy and playing. Again - Merry Christmas - and beautiful pictures!

The vets tell me he shouldn't be in pain, just uncomfortable, CCT

but I'm here watching him and I have difficulty in believing them. Poor fellow has trouble getting around and there's much heavy breathing and shaking when he first lies down. My presence and petting seems to help some. Bird's snowmen did wake up the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas to you again!!

I can imagine your sister being much like you, TAPS.

It is actually nice that we're not expected to do so much now; that we have gracefully aged to the point of having others do onto us as we did onto them, isn't it? I hope the season brings you better health, and to your sister too. Merry Christmas once again!

Thank you, Naut, and it's just his time...

Apprently there is danger of infection and mommy will be provoked sometime within the next 10 days, so little Miko will be joining us much earlier than the expected end of March. A Capricorn yet! In spite of losing some, I always have plenty others to love.

I know, Kabu, and it's never easy, experience aside.

I do remember that he has had a better life than many poor animals, and was just as certain that those I love would respect my decision to spend time with only him right now. We had a 'Grump' Christmas.

The day was very quiet, but Grump and I spent it together, Pat-B

The children all called, as did friends, and because of not hosting this year I had ample time to spoil my doggie, so it was good. Thanks for the hug - it was most welcome.

I like Christmas a lot as well...We have been fortunate that weather has not effected it...I hope that Grump feels better.

Hey, you're supposed to relax on Christmas day! Oh, well. Hope it was a good one . . .

My caring thoughts are with you.

I am always impressed with how you face life and deal with the challenges. Grump could not have a better companion and friend.

Poor old Grump as long as he is not in pain, he has been a been a good old pal.

I like the idea of Bird's snowmen. One has do the best one can. Take care and drive carefully.

God bless you and keep you and all of yours.
I haven't done any shopping and very little celebrating this year because it scared me to even think about it.  I haven't been feeling too awfully whoopie and get tired so easy.  But, nevertheless, I do love Christmas and really enjoyed the beautiful music and the pease and quiet and decorations, and loving spirit of everyone.  My oldest sister here has been admitted to hospice care and is not doing well physically, but was/is so sweet and smiling and accepting about it and enjoyed Christmas family visitors.

I'm so sorry to hear Grump is not doing well! Also, I certainly hope Mio and the baby will be alright, and wish them the very best! And of course I admire you as always, being able to smile bravely through it all! And Merry Christmas again...

To darling adnohr

Some Christmases are bigger and brighter and happier than others. I love that song that asks for a Merry little Christmas for there are years when that is as far as we can go. A little Christmas.

Brave and special lady, enjoy this day with Grump, and remember the bitter sweet joy of a girl named Mary who became a Mother knowing that the day would come when she would lose her precious Son.

Our Christmas too is little but in our quiet way it is Merry and we send you hugs and smiles across into your beloved Hills to you.

Oh, Adnohr... Sending you a virtual hug, and a prayer that your

day brings many smiles and happy surprises. Poor Grump, what a tough little soldier he's being, no doubt in my mind his life has been one of being loved and cherished. Happy Christmas with the ones you love.
