Re: Taps

Someone should ask why she does it. Someone probably swears when they have to clean it up.

I watch this cooking program on the telly each morning and the cook always throws a pinch of salt over her left shoulder when she puts a pinch in the pot.  I keep thinking that by now the salt must be knee deep on the floor behind her, but that never shows for us to see.

Indeed we must accept it FS. The same as these damn phone calls that keep calling cold.

No I think most folk wonder at times which pathway will lead to better times Pat, but no matter which one takes it is already ordained.Well we all are a bit strange to be sure.

Re: Naut

I have been told that there have been several civilizations Naut. We had come further than most, perchance this is a quiet couple of hundred thousand years.

Re: ChiffChiff

Well Bro it is I think an anxiety complex, it is a miserable feeling, one relates to things that have no real foundation. Once I felt physically sick if I saw a stick lying in the road as I drove anywhere. I felt I should stop and pick it up to relieve the tension. Eventually I thought out the meaning it was a little girl I saw run over when I was a boy. At the time I didn't take too much notice, but the tragedy was dormant in my mind and a memory triggered it.

Somehow this writing suggests to me that you either aren't getting enough sleep, or else someone may have slipped you a brownie or two laced with something left over from the '60's! Don't think too much! Most of the time, it's not worth it . . .

ChiffChiff

Actually Bro this post of yours reminds me of why I have been seeing a lot of therapists, especially over the groceries and the butter sliding down maybe but not, or I have to cancel a reservation at a motel that is screwing me around, That's how life is now I have figured out, as we age Pard.

You hint at something I have long suspected - the objective world is slyly revenging itself on us for having intruded...

So it's not just me, conversing with myself about whether this is better

for a fortunate outcome than that, and the little rituals are merely part of the human construct and not a obsessive-compulsive aberration. Either that, or we're all a bit strange at times.
