Re: Re: Kabu
Well one leg of the business is in a cocked hat. The Arctic air drifted over Wednesday night and the poor flowers are kaput.

Re: Naut
His lips are sealed, he won't disclose the secret remedy, but he is gaining recognition amongst the gourmets of this county. He and his wife cannot keep up with the demand.

Hey, work first, sleep later! And are those flies I see roaming across the top of those flowers? I hope they're outside . . .

I really find it is hard work gardening sometimes
We have so many pots and lifting them is tiring
I was moving some into a green house today.
I thought why am I doing this. Why not just
sit in a chair and go to sleep.
So I went inside and sat in a chair until the aches
subsided and I felt about eighty years old again.
Then Archie poked his head in the door. 'Got a cup of coffee?
You have a treat in store.' What's that?
Janie is coming down to clean your bathroom.'
'Well she hasn't been for seven weeks,' I said
'So I don't think it will matter.'
'She will be down, I expect it is filthy.'
'You are a cheeky bugger, ' I said 'If I hadn't
trained you in the art of hygiene, your house would be like
a pigsty.'
I made a note to give it an extra clean before she came down.
' He drank his coffee, 'Are we going to move those pots? he asked.
'Yes,' I said some are so heavy we will have to two them.'
'Rubbish,' 'Well if you get a hernia don't blame me.'
We have been sticking bands around the fruit trees to catch
moths that lay their eggs I assume on the trees and make maggots
eventually in the apples, and plums etc. I shall just do it this once,
if it doesn't make any difference, then I shall forget it in future.
It is not very nice kneeling on muddy ground trying to get the bands to stick.
Years ago when we had nearly four acres planted with fruit trees
we used to spray them with tar oil or Jeyes fluid. I think it was probably
quite hazardous, but when one is young one smokes and drinks . One feels
immortal. As the man said as he ground asbestos with a mechanical wheel.
'This stuff is suppose to be dangerous.' It was.
