Well when I looked it was bright and I thought damn, it will be a frost tonight. Fortunately it turned to rain. Put some slippers on, you will get chilblains.

It rained all night here so my becoming a nuisance by now, "friend" didn't wake me or Wiley to take a look

I've seen a couple shots of it on TV - the moon fascinates me on
ordinary nights, but the eclipse was behind the tree line & the profile of some downtown buildings, and I wasn't ambitious enough to get dressed and drive out to an open spot.

Here it was cloudy, as I knew it would be, so I didn't bother. I have watched it before, once even through a large, professional telescope at the University of Toronto - very impressive...
