And that right exists specifically so that the Government...
will have to think twice before stepping on the rights of a well armed citizenry; another blogger posted a Benjamin Franklin quote about democracy being a well armed mob challenging the honesty of the vote counters or some such. Thomas Jefferson was known to suggest that we needed a revolution every 20 years. I do not reccomend armed insurection because it would inevitably fail and cost us what few rights we have left; but that doesn't mean we should be silent, fearing that we will be victims of the suspension of Habeus Corpus.

People seem to forget that apathy will lead us to tyranny. Our wonderful feds, from both parties, are willing to trade our rights for expediency and for profit. Only we, the people, can stop the trend.
