i agree with you, i would rather be careful than to kill it, but then i guess if there were no hunting seasons they would multiply and die of starvation. at least that is what they tell us of the deer around here. this has been the year of the snake in these parts, lots of people getting bit and we killed 3 large ones in the yard this year. i think i would rather have a bear.

That was a lot of excitement there with the beeper. Glad everyone is okay.

I used to see bear tracks around Mill Creek where I used to go
fishing during my teen years - especially during blackberry season. I would not mess with one of them - they may be furry and look cuddly, but they have major claws and teeth.

Nice security stuff on the beeper.
Well, a bear right there in your garden? Wow.
I hope it stays away from the bullits. I mean, I follow your picture. It's a question time before it ends up in a freezer and so on.
Nice entry, by the way.

LOL to Justi's comment! In any case, I agree with you - I wouldn't want the bear end up as a rug either! But hunting is highly regulated, and if there aren't enough bears in your locality, there won't be a hunt allowed. The local office of the Ministry of Natural Resources should be able to give you more info...

Darling I don't want you stretched for a rug in the Bear's den either. That does not make me comfortable. Be careful.
