Can your husband go a night without having a drink???? He sounds to me like so many alcoholics that I have known who can work and maintain a fairly normal life, but comes a cetain time of the day and they HAVE to start drinking. Also he is a nasty drubk and that is awful to live with constantly.

One day at a time at this stage ...and when it comes to a marriage that is dying, terrible things can be said to each other because of personal pain. Don't beat yourself up not take everything that he says while drunk as how he really thinks.
