Seems to me you had me looking over black steel to make this garden enclosure when you knew I was putting together wooden trellis material I would have painted green, "Nevah mind" as Flora would have said while she burned your lunch, we can build a wooden trellis aeound it later. (Loved your blog.

Yes, I believe it was the storms that knocked you off the internet. We got walloped down here as well, but thankfully, we didn't lose power! And it appears that the gnomes are trying to form a 'union.' If that happens, Sir Wiley's really gonna have his hands full! By the way, from what I understand, mosquitoes are apparently attracted to the color blue. So if you are outside and covered up, stay away from blue! See if that helps . . .

I like iced coffee this time of year, and found an easy way to make it.
Freeze what's left in the pot after that first wake me up. Pour milk over the glass of frozen coffee cubes, and enjoy. I hope you don't have storms, but a pleasant summer day, because you need good conditions if you're building a secret garden.
I'm thinking maybe the gnomes weren't really staging a coup against Queen Kabu, but were simply trying to get Sir Wiley to join... well, maybe they were. What do I know?

lol, one big bite you say. we have started the 2 months, july and august, that i will retreat to my house. just to hot and humid to even attempt to go outside. sigh.
your secret garden sounds delightful! cant wait to see the pictures. i just need to get my sign made for my pigs flying garden, and i can paint the sign in my house, so i hope to have pictures soon.
just love to hear about your little family there, you, wiley and graysome. oh, lets not forget the gnomes!
