We are waiting for the photo of the fuzzy wuzzy tree / I have let my S. I. L read your book for 10,dollars . She says she is enjoying it. She is an invalid so I couldn't be too hard on her. Let me explain something to you Kabu. You see in nature animals breed more when the pickings are good, not like humans who just go at it regardless. So you have created a perfect environment for your little buddies and they will probably keep breeding regardless.

We've actually seen smaller groups of birds fighting off the large hawks around here who consistently attack the nests of these others birds. It's bizarre to watch sometimes, and you'd love to go out there and help the smaller birds, but like you said, sometimes you just have to leave Mother Nature alone, and not interfere . . .

I noticed the lilacs here came and went almost overnight.

I think there's a decline in bees, too. Naut's right about the milkweed and butterflies.

Kabu

I've read that to help the Monarchs, which are really declining badly, one should sow/plant/establish milkweed...
